There was a gecko outside my apartment building the other day. Being animals who live in warm climates, I don't think they're at all rare in Taiwan, but since we don't have them in NYC, I always get excited when I see one. They're really cute, and they chirp like birds!
一昨日、ビルの前でこの一匹の家守（ヤモリ）を見掛けた。家守は熱帯、亜熱帯の動物だから、台湾はきっと珍しくない。でも私の出身地ニューヨークには居ないので、見掛けたらいつも興奮する。めっちゃ可愛いと思う。しかも、忍者みたいに壁登る事も出来る！
