A Row of Shops in Changhua / 彰化の町屋 / 位於彰化之商店

我騎車進去彰化就碰到這些古老的商店。尤其喜歡用王字的裝飾。

I saw these while driving into Changhua City (彰化市).  I especially liked the designs near the roofs utilizing the letter "Wong" (王), presumably the family name of whoever originally owned the buildings.

彰化市に入ろうとしたらこの町屋を見かけた。屋根のところに「王」の字を使ったデザインが面白いと思った。王はよくある苗字だから、多分建てた人の苗字ではないかと思う。
