Miyajima Mountaintop/山上からの宮島/山頂的宮島

還是在宮島。這次我們要去山上。

Continuing from last time, we're still on Miyajima.  We decided to head to the mountaintop next.

前回の続き。次に宮島の山頂に行くことにした。

宮島也有山道，也有纜車。我建議有時間的人爬山去山上。應該很漂亮。但是我們沒有時間，所以搭纜車去山上。

There are a number of hiking trails, but seeing as we were short on time, we took the cable car up.

山道もけっこうある様だが、私達は時間が足りなくて、ロープウェイに乗って行った。

不知道是不是蚵蠣養殖？

I think this might be oyster farms or something like that.

もしかして何かの貝類の養殖かな？

這時候已經差不多五點，纜車快要結束，所以我們只看一看風景就回下去了。

Since it was already almost 5:00, we basically just went up to the peak and looked around a bit and then got right on the last car back down.

時間は本当に多くなかったので、結局山頂に行ってからすぐ下に戻らなければいけなかったのだ。

又看鳥居，因為陽光和海潮不一樣，所以樣子改變了。

At the bottom, the change in sunlight and tides presented us with a new face of the big Torii gate.

下に着いたら、鳥居の様子をもう一回見に行った。日差しと潮の変化によってちょっと違う風景が見えた。

其實，去宮島之前我沒想到這麼好玩。我們開車開了四個小時多，結果在宮島玩的時間不夠。要去宮島的話我建議最短整天去玩。如可以的話，住一晚也應該很好。山上有很多山道，也有很多山上的佛廟，加說如想看大鳥居的變化，因為海潮的關係需要過半天才看得到。因為我們時間不夠所以不能看漲潮的大鳥居，我覺得很可惜。想再有機會去玩玩！

I enjoyed Miyajima a lot more than I expected.  In fact, I was a little disappointed that we didn't have more time there.  (We had to drive four plus hours there and then the same amount back, so there wasn't much we could do about that.)  I would recommend to anyone that goes that you spend at least one full day there, or even that you stay at one of the hotels there for a night.  If you want to walk around on the mountaintop trails and see the temples up there, and if you want to see the Torii at both high and low tide, then you need at least a full day's worth of time.  Hopefully I can go again sometime!

宮島は思ったより行く甲斐があった。というか、私達は愛媛から行って来たから、結局時間が全然足りなかった。山の上に色んな歩道があるみたいで、お寺とかもけっこうあるので、きっと散策するのは楽しいだろう。また、時間的に半日ぐらい過ごさないと、満潮と干潮両方とも見るのは無理だ。満潮の鳥居と神社見たかったんだ、、、、宮島に行くなら、是非一日、または一泊した方がいいと思う。本当にそこまで価値があると思う。私は次の機会を期待している！
