There's an old movie theater in Tainan that's famous for being the place that Ang Lee went when he was young. It's a very retro theater, and one thing that they continue to do (which used to be very common in Taiwan, but which has all but died out) is to use hand-painted posters to advertise the movies they are showing. Check them out!
台南には若い時の李安が行った映画館がある。それだけで有名ではなくて、この映画は昔ながらのやり方に拘って、今も手書きの映画ポスターを使用している。昔は台湾にこういうポスターが一般だったが、現在はほとんど全滅している。日本にも昔こんなの多かったのだろう？
上月我通過這個電影院前面、拍一些照片。我聽說這裡是小時候李安常常去的電影院。這裡還用自製的海報！我也聽說畫這裡的海報只有一個人而已！好棒！我看到現代的電影在古早的海報上、我就想起來了「溫故知新」。（可是我在詞典找了一下、就知道了「溫故知新」的意思不是我認為的。好像這些老式的海報跟溫故知新都沒關係。）
