New York: Riverside Park / ニューヨーク：リバーサイドパーク / 紐約：河岸公園

河岸公園（Riverside Park）在曼哈頓西岸。這天我騎腳踏車從北到南，然後回上來曼哈頓北部。下面就是當天的照片。

Here are some photos from a bike ride through Riverside Park on the west side of Manhattan.  I rode from north to south, exited the park for a bit to take care of an errand, then rode back north again.

リバーサイドパークはマンハッタンの西岸にある公園だ。ある日私は自転車に乗って北から南の方に行って、そして北に戻って来た。これはその日の写真だ。

我有事離開公園一下。這裡是曼哈頓比較南部的地方。

Here's where I exited the park for a bit.  I'm somewhere in lower-ish Manhattan.

公園ちょっと出て用事済ました。ここはマンハッタンの南部辺り。

好看的紅磚

I thought this brick wall looked neat when zoomed in.

煉瓦の壁が綺麗と思った。

色を変えてみたら、もっと綺麗になった。

紫翅椋鳥。因為這隻的羽毛都是茶色所以牠應該還是小朋友。

This young starling was hanging around at this cafe in the park.  It's body is all brown, so that's why I think it must be a juvenile.

ホシムクドリ。ニューヨークでは全然珍しくない。なんでも食うから、都市生活に適している。この一匹は全身が茶色いから、たぶんまだ青年だ。（鳥的に青年）

羽がちゃんと黒くなっている大人のホシムクドリ。

不管我去哪裡，一定會拍燈塔的照片！在曼哈頓比較北部有這座燈塔。叫做「小紅燈塔」（Little Red Lighthouse）。因為有一本兒童書說這座燈塔的話，所以後來它變得很有名。現在這座燈塔沒有用，所以如沒有那本書，有可能燈塔已經被拆除了。我也小時候喜歡看那本書。

If you checked out this blog before, you know that I have an obsession with lighthouses.  This one is near where I grew up in northern Manhattan.  It's called the Little Red Lighthouse, after the children's book about it of the same name.  That book actually made the lighthouse famous and ultimately saved it from being torn down after the George Washington Bridge went up over it.

出た！私は本当に灯台の写真を撮らずにはいられないみたい。こっちはマンハッタンの北部にある「リットルレッドライトハウス」。この灯台を話題にする子供の絵本があるおかげで、かなり有名になった。実は、既に使用されていないから、もしその絵本がなかったら、たぶんもう撤去されている。でも本のファンが灯台を保存する運動を起こしたから現在も残っている。
