Big South Gate and Corgis/大南門とコーギー/大南門和柯基犬

Continuing from my last post, here are some more photos from around Tainan.  First up is Big South Gate, which has been outfitted with a cafe and many gaudy-looking chairs to my disappointment.

前回の続き、台南の写真を載せていく。まずは大南門だ。前と違って、最近中にカフェーが出来たみたいだ。大事な文化財にもかかわらずグラウンド内はテーブルに占められている。

還有一些臺南的照片。先看大南門吧。以前沒有,但是在裡面最近建咖啡店。因為椅子,桌子很多,所以我覺得弄氣氛破壞了。

Here you can see the mess of unused cafe chairs spread out on the grounds of the valuable cultural property.  Good job, guys!

We met a guy here who was writing and giving out his calligraphy.






昔は中国の皇帝はこの廟に四字熟語の書いている札を授ける習慣があった。これは中華民国時代に続いて、ここには元李大統領が授けた物が提示されている。しかし、流石台湾はちゃんと民主主義の国になってから大統領達はこういう皇帝ぶりを辞めた。だから李が一番最近になっている。
