Tie Non: Nagasaki Confucius Temple / 長崎の孔子廟 / 長崎孔子廟

我在拜訪長崎時，也參觀長崎的孔子廟。孔子廟！？對啊，有啊。長崎以前是一個很重要的國外貿易海港，中華的居民非常多。其實以前孔子廟裡也有一個華僑學校，但現在華僑比較少，需求沒有以前那麼多，只有華語學校而已。

裡面也有美術館，展出北京故宮博物館的物品。但是沒有那麼好。是因為原來北京最好的美術品都被蔣介石拿到台北。

While I was in Nagasaki this past April, I went to check out the Confucius Temple there. Having lived in Tainan, let me tell you, I know Confucius Temples. Why I'm practically an expert! I was curious to see the one in Nagasaki, especially since I had never visited it during my five years living in Nagasaki. (Why? It has an admission fee.)

The temple used to serve as a center of the Chinese community, and it had a Chinese school on the grounds. However, in recent decades there hasn't been enough of a Chinese community in Nagasaki to keep a school open. There are still Chinese language classes here though I believe. Of course, once Japan changed recognition from the government of the Republic of China to the government of the People's Republic of China, they probably started teaching phoney-baloney Mao characters instead of real Chinese characters, so you won't actually be able to become literate here.

長崎に訪れていた間に、孔子廟にも寄ってみた。五年間長崎に住んでいたのに、一度も訪れたことはなかった。（なぜならば、有料だから。）台南に住んで、孔子廟について詳しくなってきた俺様は長崎の孔子廟を是非見たいと思った。

ちなみに何十年前まではこの孔子廟に中華式の学校もあったらしい。最近長崎の中華社会は人数が少なくなって、学校は廃校となってしまったが、未だに中国語の授業があるらしい。

雖然跟孔子廟沒有關係，可是附近的錢湯看起來蠻古老，很有浪漫。
